Ishishini African Leathers was established 10 years ago and is situated in the picturesque holiday town of Hermanus.
The shop is just a stone’s throw away from the Hermanus Old Harbour on the majestic Walker Bay. During the month’s of June till November the bay is frequented by Southern Right Whales at what is said to be the best land-based whale watching sight in the world.
The name Ishishini is derived from the Xhosa word for a trader or craftsman. Wherever possible Ishishini supports local artisans, which is evident from our collection of fine handcrafted leather goods. We specialize in a wide range of different leathers, from buffalo, bovine, kudu and elephant to ostrich. The quality and durability of our products have and always will be of the highest consideration.
